2016 Honda Accord: Remote Engine Start
The 2016 Honda Accord is always ready for you with the available Remote Engine Start feature, standard on the 2016 Accord EX models with CVT and all EX-L and Touring models.
Beat the Florida heat by cooling down the Accord before you even get in. Press the lock button and then press and hold the hold button on the key fob to start the engine from up to 60 yards away.
Climate control automatically adjusts to 72 degrees. When 40 degrees or colder, defrosters and available heated side mirrors and heated seats also activate. To drive, press the brake pedal and the push button start.
To turn off the engine remotely, press the hold button for one second. The engine automatically shuts off after 10 minutes or up to 20 minutes with the extended time feature.
