The 2016 Honda Pilot features available Intelligent Traction Management to help drivers maintain control in a variety of road conditions with just the push of a button.
Standard on the Pilot EX and above, Intelligent Traction Management works with the drive-by-wire throttle, VSA system, transmission shift map, and — if equipped — the all-wheel drive system.
In 2WD models, press the button labeled “Snow” located behind the shifter to change between Normal and Snow modes.
In AWD models, press the button with the vehicle profile on it behind the shift-by-wire buttons to change between Normal, Snow, Mud, and Sand modes.
When the button is pressed, the multi-information display shows the available modes. Each ensuing push cycles through the modes. Once selected, the Pilot will take three seconds to configure to best suite the conditions before engaging.
