The 2016 Honda Pilot is sleeker than ever, with a new, muscular style. Longer, lower, and narrower than the preceding Pilot, the redesigned 2016 Pilot is at the forefront of its class in design, performance, and utility. The 2016 Pilot comes in five different trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L, Touring, and Elite. Available exterior features include an Acoustic Windshield, Power Tailgate, LED Daytime Running Lights, LED Projector Headlights, LED Taillights, a One-Touch Power Moonroof, and a Panoramic Glass Roof.
The 2016 Honda Pilot is more powerful and more fuel-efficient than ever with a new 3.5L direct-injected i-VTEC V6 engine with Variable Cylinder Management. Putting out 280-horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, this Pilot exceeds the previous model by 30-hp and 9 lb-ft. New 6-speed and 9-speed automatic transmissions are more refined, responsive, and efficient than ever, helping the 2016 Pilot achieve class-leading EPA fuel economy ratings. Two-wheel drive models get up to 20/27 mpg*, and the new Intelligent Variable Torque Management All-Wheel Drive System-equipped models get up to 19/26 mpg*.
The 2016 Honda Pilot is the first Pilot to offer the bundle of driver-assistive technologies called the Honda Sensing suite. Collision Mitigation Braking reduces the possibility or impact of a collision. Forward Collision Warning alerts you to stopped or slowing forward obstacles. Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist System help keep you from inadvertently veering into another lane, while Road Departure Mitigation System helps keep you on the highway. Adaptive Cruise Control adjusts your speed automatically, simplifying highway driving and reducing traffic jams for everyone. Honda LaneWatch uses a side camera to decrease any passenger-side blind spot. Honda Sensing is standard on the 2016 Pilot Touring and Elite, and available for the 2016 Pilot EX and EX-L. The 2016 Pilot Elite also includes Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Monitor.
The 2016 Honda Pilot offers many more features for the first time. Idle Stop improves fuel economy while the SUV is sitting in traffic. Remote Engine Start lets you warm up your 2016 Pilot before even entering, while Smart Entry and Push Button Start reduce your need to fiddle with keys. The 2016 Pilot is the first Honda to include an 8-inch touchscreen Display Audio system with Android-powered operating system (on models EX and up).
