The Bradenton Blues Festival, now in its 8th fabulous year, offers something for all music enthusiasts. The festival is produced by Realize Bradenton, a nonprofit organization that helps to fund music and arts programs for youth. In addition to great music, there will be a large number of food and drink vendors on hand to provide many kinds of refreshments, including wine and craft beer.
Amazing Music In A Great Setting
The festival kicks off on Friday evening with a free “Blues Appetizer” concert. This event is located at the Pavilion on the Bradenton Riverwalk, and attendees are invited to bring a chair or blanket to sit on the grassy lawn and enjoy the performances by the Rusty Wright Band and the Duffy Bishop Band. The main portion of the festival will happen on Saturday when nationally recognized performers will be taking the stage all day. A few of these performers are Kenny Neal, who was nominated for a Grammy for his contemporary blues album and has won two BMA awards, Toronzo Cannon, who was nominated for several blues awards in 2017, and Biscuit Miller and Duke Robillard, who are also award-winning artists. These and many other musicians will be sure to thrill audiences with their moving and soulful sounds. Visitors have the option of purchasing a general admission ticket for lawn seating, or to reserve a chair in front of the stage. Either way, attendees are sure to have a magnificent time.

The Bradenton Blues Festival is set for Friday, December 6, from 6-9 p.m., and Saturday, December 7, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The place is the Bradenton Riverwalk Event Pavilion, which is located at 452 3rd Ave. West Bradenton, FL, 34205. General admission tickets can be purchased for $45, and reserved seating for $115. Both include a one-year subscription to Blues Music Magazine.
