For all you dog moms (and dads) out there, here’s an opportunity for you to get a high-quality, professional photo of your furbaby while also supporting a fantastic cause. On August 8 from 5 pm to 7 pm, A Gold Photo Pet Photography out of Tampa will be hosting a pet-shoot fundraiser here in Bradenton to benefit the Humane Society. So if your family photo album needs more pics of your pup (and you know it does), get the details below and then reserve your slot today.
Photo Costs & Guidelines
The event will take place in the community room at the Humane Society of Manatee County on 2515 14th Street W. Slots are limited, so you must reserve yours ahead of time.
Each shoot requires a sitting fee of $60 – $40 of which will be donated to the Humane Society. The cost is for one dog per shoot. Therefore, if you have more than one pet you want to be photographed, you will need to pay a sitting fee for each pet. Additionally, this event is for pets only. Humans are not allowed to sit in the picture with their pets.
After the shoot, you can expect to receive your proofs within approximately three weeks. Once you’ve chosen your favorite photos, they’ll be sent for editing and then delivered to you.
In order to receive your photos, you must purchase an add on package. These include:

- 3 Digital Photos
- Physical prints not included
- Pre-paid upon registration | $60 OR Post-paid once you receive your pet’s proofs | $75
- Package B
- 4 Digital Photos
- 4 5×7 prints from your chosen digital photos
- 1 8×10 print from your chosen digital photos
- Pre-paid upon registration | $115 OR Post-paid once you receive your pet’s proofs | $130
- Package C
- 5 Digital Photos
- 5 5×7 prints from your chosen digital photos
- 1 16×20 Canvas Print from your chosen digital photos
- Pre-paid upon registration | $180 OR Post-paid once you receive your pet’s proofs | $195
All costs are fully refundable as long as you cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
But What About My Cat?
The folks at A Gold Photo Pet Photography love all animals the same. Unfortunately, cats often don’t do as well as dogs when it comes to events like these. Therefore, if you’re interested in having a professional photo of your cat, it’s suggested you schedule an in-home shoot instead. Please note, in-home shoots are not currently a part of this fundraiser.
